Davison’s dedication is recognised by Essex table tennis award

NETTS Table Tennis Club secretary and five-times men’s singles winner Paul Davison has been given the 2017 Corti Woodcock Award by Essex Table Tennis Association in recognition of his work for the sport.
The Braintree Table Tennis League stalwart, who in April became the first person to win the Braintree cadets’, junior boys’, men’s and veterans’ singles, has been coaching since he was 15 and in 2000, the 40-year-old was named young coach of the year by the English Table Tennis Association and in 2005, he won the Braintree League’s Martin Bawden Award for service or achievement.
